My grandparents were farmers, when i was a kid i watched them till the land, sow the seeds, remove the weeds, catch the bugs, adding fertilizers, harvest the land.
How I enjoyed having fun helping them do all that. I am amazed by what these fun activities educate me now.
Till the land
Preparation, getting needed information, plan your ways.
Sow the seeds
The more you do, the more you get
(all farmers know that not all seeds grow into a fruit yielding plant)
Remove the weeds
Removing the unnecessary attention drainage. Prioritise.
Don't be doing what you don't need tobe doing.
Catch the bugs
Self checks, change the destructive ways.
Cultivate good habits.
Adding fertilizers
Seek new knowledge and methods. Enhancements
Harvest the land
Time to collect the fruits.
Don't forget to feast a little, reward yourself, have a nice celebration. And it's back to work again.
2 things to take note of:-
1) Affter doing all the right things, yet the land does not yield crops, then it's time to change the seeds, change what you sow. the same plot of land needs a change of crops once a while, to refresh the nutrients in the soil, which is necessary for certain crops.
Do you need a fresh idea, to encourage the people around you, to boost that sales your business needs?
Do you need to try new things? to stay away from that comfort zone, so that you can seek for more?
2) While working to the success of the plot of land, prepare your heart for the 2nd plot, the 3rd plot, the 4th plot, the 5th plot and the many to come.
Never stop expanding!
Don't let the old familiar ways, the small piece of land be a limitation to you. As you seek for more, more is what you will see.
