Well, talkiing about giants, no no it's not some football team I am talking about.
Aniway when giants are mentioned, there seem to be a lot of pictorial illustrations that come to our minds. For some, giants have only one eye. For some, giants carry a club to beat down human for food.
Whatever they look like in your mind, the common thing is that the giants always delay your progress, trying to withhold you from moving forward; slowing you down. If you allow yourself to be crippled by your giant, death follows.
Here we are, 3 facts about giants
1. The size of your giants tells me yours.
Giants you will find in RPG games are always relative to your gaming level and progress of the game. The higher your level, the more difficult the giant. Just like life itself. If you are an easily irritable person, your giant can come in the form of a small little fly, flying and buzzing around you that you loose your cool. A fly... what a big giant.
small giants = small dreams
BIG GIANTS = BIG DREAMS
2. Your giant reveals your weaknesses.
Giants that manage to hinder people's lives are very often their fears on the issues they hold close to their hearts. It may be the concern on finances and poverty. It may be the concern of looking for the exact mr or ms right. It may even be the colleague who is always moving ahead of you in all the things you want to perform for your company's growth.
Whatever you fear, will cripple you!
3. You can slay that giant!
The famous bible story of David and Goliath tells it all. A 9-feet tall champion of war named Goliath, came out of the Philistine camp. Wearing bronze armor and bronze helmet, with a bronze javelin slung over his back. the taunting giant stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel with words of challenge and mockery. For 40 days he did the same thing and the whole of the Israeli ranks shook in fear.
And finally one day, when young David as running an errand for his father, to bring food for his brothers and the army. Just as he was greeting his brothers, Goliath the giant was performing his usual defiance. After he was told of the rewards that will be given to th ehero who will slay that giant, David went to the king and offered his service to challenge the giant in war.
With his staff in hand (as David was a shepherd boy) David took 5 stones and a slingshot and went against teh giant in the name of God Almighty. As Goliath moved to attack him, David reahed for a stone in his bag and slung it at the head of the giant, bringing him face down to the ground. And with the giant's own sword, David killed Goliath, cutting off his head. And David was rewarded with every reward that has been promised to him, which includes the hand of the king's daughter in marriage.
Slaying that giant brings you to your destiny.
David became a mighty warrior fighting alongside the king. After overcoming difficulties upon difficulties, David eventually became king of the nation.
Giants are obstacles. No doubts.
But they are not the end.
The only reason why they are obstacles will only mean you can overcome them.
