Road to Greatness

The basics.

The disciplines.

The humble beginnings.

Which person who has achieved greatness has forsaken those?

None

And none who will achieve greatness can forsake those.

Change

Had a haircut today

One of the worst i've ever had.

My hair is really dense and it will look like a mushroom if i don't get a haircut for over 2 months. this time was 3 months, as the last haircut as really short and nerdy.

The guy just used this pair of scissors, the type that they use often for layering your hair; with some grooves and stuff and started clipping of the ends of my hair.

I have met good hairdressers who took the time and effort to thin my hair. Cutting from near the roots of my hair, instead of the ends of my hair. they give me a really good cut.

Today's cut was disappointing. I can't feel the layers. I don't like it. I find that it looks weird.

Though the general shape is still there, but you know that you know it is different.

It reminded me.

True change comes from within. And it's lived and revealed in the outward.

An inward change of heart with the outward change of actions

Seems like I will need another haircut soon

Advancement

We all seek to become better.
It's a wonderful thing that we should never forsake.

How then do we improve?
Brain implants? Super seminar? Herbal essence with the aid of medication and medical science?

None of those

While knowledge, education, experience and wise planning can never be denied; i'snt the following statement true?

We all advance, with the steps of basics.

Greater things are ahead.

Relational Communication

Leadership is not just about vision, it's not just communication.

It's about bringing a person from where he is to where he is supposed to, many a times, it's a place where the person may not even have dreamed of.

It takes a combination of wisdom, relationship and communication.

Relational communication is an art of wisdom.

Learn it and use it. You can find your life and the lives of others changed just because you have mastered this art of Relational Communication

Focus

What do you focus on?

What you focus on takes your attention.
Where your attention goes to takes your mind.
What takes you mind eventually takes your heart.
What takes your heart gradually grow into part of you.

What has grown will either help you grow or it will make you slow.
It will bring you light or it will simply bite.

The choice is simply yours to make.

What do you focus on?

Seek, Ask, Knock

Often we hear it

Seek and you shall find! Ask and you will receive! Knock and it will be given to you.

Three individual events. But today I just got to see why these 3 lines are always mentioned together.

1. Seek and you shall find
Obviously if you don't seek, then nothing will be found.

2. Ask and you will receive
This occurs after finding. When you have found, there are times you can take it immediately, there are situations you need to ask and ask again and note that the time for receive is open ended.

3. Knock and it will be given to you
This usually happens after or in the midst of step 2. That will you ask, a barrier will come. This is the time to knock and knock and knock and knock and knock relentlessly until the barrier succumbs to you, and there will be an openning for you to grab what you have been seeking for.

Enjoy

Response

Your response to others, be it their comments being right or wrong, tells me a lot about you.

Let's have the right response; see if we are the ones who need to change. If not, at least they care enough to notice and comment.
